The OECD has published its eighth annual Peer Review Report on the implementation of Country-by-Country reporting (CbCR), to assess the adequacy of the national legal and administrative framework, the information exchange framework and the measures in place to ensure the confidentiality and appropriate use of CbCR reports for each of the 142 jurisdictions that have implemented the latter.
It was confirmed that Italy’s rules have not changed and continue to be effectively enforced, meeting all relevant OECD requirements.
For the sake of completeness, the OECD reported that Italy exchanged some CbCR reports after the deadline in the context of information exchange. This was due to a technical issue that has since been resolved; therefore, the OECD did not issue any recommendations.
